This study aimed to investigate the relationships between intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, task value, and smartphone addiction. To examine the relationship between smartphone addiction and intrinsic motivation, a mediation model was developed, in which self-efficacy and task value acted as mediating variables.

Sport satisfaction is a crucial construct for sport psychologists, given its significant impact on athletes’ psychological well-being and engagement in sport activities. We aimed to explore the relations of demographic, contextual, and personal factors with athlete sport satisfaction. 

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a debilitating and complex disorder that signifies physical and psychological symptoms occur periodically and remit following the onset of menstruation. The present research aims to clarify perception of self, others and the world in women suffering from PMDD in their premenstrual period. 

The present study investigated hypersexual behavior and self-perceived addiction to pornography among Romanian individuals. We aimed to test the moderating role of the frequency of pornography use in the relationship between hypersexual behavior and self-perceived addiction to pornography. 

In this article, drawing on the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory, we proposed and tested a moderated mediation model that indicates value congruence as the mediator and procedural justice as the moderator in the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior (CCB) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB).

Public Call for the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Psihologija

Executive Board of the Serbian Psychological Society, at its 20th session held on 30 September 2025, in accordance with the Statute, adopted the following

DECISION

on announcing a Public Call for the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Psihologija.

The Editor-in-Chief of Psihologija is selected on the basis of a public call for a term of four (4) years.

A candidate for Editor-in-Chief of Psihologija must meet the following minimum requirements prescribed by the Rulebook on the Journal Psihologija (http://dps.org.rs/images/pravilnikcasopis.pdf):

  1. Hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in psychology.

  2. Have published, over the course of their career, at least three papers in journals indexed in the SSCI or classified as M21, M22, or M23 according to the categorization of the ministry competent for science, of which at least one must be in a journal other than Psihologija and at least one in which the candidate is the first or sole author.

  3. Have at least 30 non-self citations.

  4. Have experience in editing scientific journals, edited volumes, or other scholarly publications.

  5. Have completed at least one peer review in the last 10 years for a scientific journal in categories M21, M22, or M23.

  6. Have served as a principal investigator or participant on a scientific project.

  7. Be a member of the Serbian Psychological Society.

Applications to the Public Call must include the following elements:

  1. A proposal for the editorial policy of Psihologija for the 2025–2029 term (3,000–8,000 characters).

  2. The candidate’s CV and bibliography for the Editor-in-Chief position, focusing on scientific and professional work, with classification of publications according to the current rulebook of the ministry competent for science of the Republic of Serbia.

  3. A proposal for the Deputy Editor-in-Chief, with the nominee’s CV and bibliography, focused on scientific work and including classification of publications according to the current rulebook of the ministry competent for science of the Republic of Serbia.

  4. A proposed composition of the journal’s Editorial Board, including the proposed initial composition of the International Advisory Board and a proposal for the Journal Secretary.

Proposed Editorial Board members, excluding the International Advisory Board and the Secretary, must be psychologists holding a doctoral degree. Among them there must be employees from at least three different universities or institutes located in at least three different cities. Exceptionally, up to 20% of the Editorial Board may consist of individuals holding a doctoral degree in a field other than psychology, provided they have published at least three papers in psychology journals classified as M21–M23 in the last 10 years. Editorial Board members who are psychologists working in Serbia should be members of the Serbian Psychological Society.

A signed statement confirming that consent to serve has been obtained from all proposed members of the Editorial Board (including members of the International Advisory Board and the Secretary) must be included.

The Public Call was published on the website of the Serbian Psychological Society and on the Psihologija journal website on 1 October 2025. The deadline for applications is 31 December 2025.

Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
